Previously...

It was Alie—the mysterious young woman who had appeared before Lutfia many times and had even posed as a teacher at her school. She turned and began leading the way, while the others followed closely behind her.

* * *

The following morning, Lutfia woke up feeling unusually energetic. She dressed herself in her school uniform, packed her school bag, and left her bedroom.

When she entered the living room, she found the housemaid cleaning. The maid stopped in surprise. “What are you doing?” she asked. “Have you already recovered?”

“I feel completely fine,” Lutfia replied. “That's why I want to go back to school.”

“My goodness!”

The maid immediately called out. “Madam! Madam!”

A few moments later, Lutfia's mother emerged, still looking sleepy. “What is all this noise so early in the morning?”

Then she noticed Lutfia's school uniform. Her eyes widened. “What's going on? Why are you dressed like that?”

“I want to go to school.”

The answer left her mother speechless. “Don't start giving me problems,” she said firmly. “You're not fully recovered yet. Your teachers already know you're sick. Stay home and rest. When you're completely healthy, then you can return.”

But Lutfia refused to back down. “Mom, I feel fine now. That's why I woke up wanting to go. If I were still sick, I wouldn't even think about school.”

She crossed her arms stubbornly. “Get ready and take me.”

Despite repeated attempts to change her mind, Lutfia remained determined. Eventually, her mother surrendered. A short while later, they were on their way.

Meanwhile, in another realm, Queen Kasma had accepted the elders' proposal. The legendary Book of Life had to be found. The revelation that even part of her own name seemed connected to the book only strengthened her determination.

Without delay, she selected several trusted followers and ordered them to travel to Earth. Their mission was simple:

Find LUTKAS.

The group departed immediately. Kasma remained behind, imagining the possibilities. If the book truly possessed the power to command life and death, then even the dead themselves could become subjects of her rule.

* * *

Back on Earth, Lutfia's mother drove toward the school. From time to time she glanced at her daughter through the rearview mirror.

Lutfia sat quietly, flipping through the pages of LUTKAS.

Strangely, her mother had begun growing accustomed to her daughter's extraordinary abilities. She now saw them less as something frightening and more as a gift from God. After all, what ordinary child could understand a book filled with advanced knowledge and complex language? The thought brought a smile to her face.

She switched on the radio, hoping to find some cheerful music. Instead, she found a news broadcast. The report immediately caught her attention. Her smile vanished.

The newsreader announced that fourteen children had died inside Presbyterian Children's Hospital. The cause remained unknown. Doctors and nurses had reportedly been caring for the patients as usual when the tragedy occurred.

Lutfia's mother felt a wave of shock. She looked at her daughter. Lutfia looked equally stunned.

“Mama...” Her voice trembled. “Is that the same hospital where I was staying?”

Her mother nodded silently. Fear gripped them both. Only yesterday, Lutfia had been discharged from that very hospital. If they had remained there one more day... She might have become one of the victims.

“We shouldn't go to school,” Lutfia suddenly said.

Her mother frowned. “What do you mean?”

“We should go to the hospital and find out what happened.”

“No.” Her mother shook her head. “The police will have secured the area by now. We probably won't even be allowed inside.”

Lutfia looked down. Then she spoke quietly. “I can't just go to school.” Her voice carried genuine pain. “I stayed there with those children. I don't even know whether some of my friends survived or if they're among the dead.” She looked out the window. “I need to see the hospital.”

Her mother sighed deeply. Once again, Lutfia had changed her plans. But she could hear the sadness in her daughter's voice. And because Lutfia was the only child she had left, she couldn't refuse. Turning the steering wheel, she changed direction. They headed toward Presbyterian Hospital.

* * *

The scene outside the hospital was chaos. Crowds filled the streets. Parents had rushed there hoping to learn whether their children were safe. Cries and screams echoed everywhere. Some parents collapsed after discovering that their children had died.

Police officers struggled to control the growing crowd.

Inside, investigators examined the bodies. The sight horrified even experienced officers. Many of the children had suffered terrible injuries. Their abdomens appeared torn open. Some organs were missing. The brutality was beyond comprehension. Nobody could explain what had happened.

Outside, television crews and journalists continued arriving. The story had already become national news.

When Lutfia and her mother arrived, they parked some distance away. Her mother stepped out first. “Stay inside the car for now,” she instructed. “I want to see what's happening first.”

Lutfia nodded. She sat quietly and observed the crowd through the window. Mothers wept. Police blocked entrances. Reporters hurried between cameras and microphones.

Then something caught her attention. Two strange figures were moving away from the hospital. They walked slowly and awkwardly. Their clothes looked worn and dirty. Blood dripped from their mouths.

Lutfia froze. A strange feeling rushed through her mind. She had seen something like this before.

Then suddenly she remembered. The vision. The passage she had read in LUTKAS the previous day. The creatures that would rise from the earth. The creatures that would shed blood while searching for something.

A cold realization struck her. What if this was exactly what the book had predicted? What if those children were their victims? Her heart began pounding.

Without thinking, she opened the car door. Then she ran.

* * *

Elsewhere, strange events were unfolding at Lutfia's school. The campus stood unusually silent. Dark clouds gathered overhead. Distant thunder rumbled.

Suddenly, several terrifying creatures emerged from one of the buildings. Blood stained their mouths and hands. They paused and sniffed the air.

Then something remarkable happened. Their monstrous forms transformed. Within moments, they looked completely human.

One of them pointed toward a distant direction. Without hesitation, they began moving. They had found a trail.

* * *

At the same time, Kasma's search party arrived on Earth. Their mission was to locate LUTKAS. Using their supernatural senses, they attempted to track its presence.

Instead, they encountered something unexpected. The smell of blood. Everywhere. The scent overwhelmed every other trace.

The group exchanged confused glances. Unable to locate the book, they decided to follow the blood trail. Perhaps it would lead them to answers.

* * *

Meanwhile, Lutfia continued chasing the two strange figures she had seen. She followed them through side streets and alleyways. But eventually they vanished. There was no sign of them.

Breathing heavily, she searched in every direction. Nothing.

Finally, she turned around and decided to return to the car. Then she heard footsteps behind her. She stopped immediately.

A feeling of courage rose inside her. Slowly, she turned. There, smiling calmly, stood Madam Alie.

“Lutfia,” she said warmly. “Why are you all alone over here?”

Lutfia stared at her carefully. She examined her from head to toe. Everything about her looked normal. Yet something felt wrong.

“I saw some strange people,” Lutfia explained cautiously. “They were bleeding and came this way. They looked very unusual.”

Alie's expression changed slightly. “Are you sure you really saw them?”

The question made Lutfia suspicious. Why was Alie so interested? Why did she seem concerned?

Lutfia studied her face. Her instincts told her not to reveal too much. Maybe her mother had been right all along. Maybe this woman wasn't who she claimed to be.

After a moment, Lutfia shrugged. “Maybe I imagined it.” She forced a small laugh. “I jumped out of the car so quickly. Maybe I was just confused.”

Alie smiled. “Perhaps.” Then she gestured toward the road. “You shouldn't wander around alone. It's safer if you return to your mother.”

Lutfia nodded and began walking away. But questions flooded her mind. If Alie really was a teacher, why wasn't she at school? Why hadn't she asked about Lutfia's illness? Why wasn't she surprised to see a student near a hospital during school hours? And most importantly... What was she doing here?

* * *

Unable to ignore her curiosity, Lutfia stopped and turned back. “If you're my teacher,” she called out, “why are you here instead of at school?”

For a brief moment, Alie looked caught off guard. Then she quickly recovered. “I heard about the children who died,” she replied smoothly. “A relative of mine has a child in this hospital. I came to help them find out whether the child survived.”

The answer sounded reasonable. But not convincing. Lutfia was far too intelligent to accept everything she was told.

Still, she smiled politely. “I understand.” Then she turned away. “I'll go wait for my mother now. Goodbye.”

As she walked off, she became more certain than ever. Madam Alie was not a teacher. At least not an ordinary one.

* * *

Alie watched her leave. Her smile slowly disappeared.

For a long time she had sensed something unusual about Lutfia. Something powerful. That was why she had followed her. Why she had appeared at her school. Why she continued observing her.

Yet one question remained unanswered. Did Lutfia truly possess the power Alie suspected? And could she possibly be the one holding the legendary book that everyone was searching for?

Neither Alie nor Queen Kasma's followers knew the truth. But fate was already pulling all of them toward the same destination. And at the center of it all was one girl...

Lutfia.
